Kane netted two goals in the first half as Bayern secured a comfortable 3-0 away win against Werder Bremen, re-establishing their six-point lead over second-placed Dortmund in the Bundesliga standings.

The opening goal arrived in the 22nd minute. Young player Lennart Karl's skillful dribble inside the penalty area led to Niklas Stark committing a foul. After a VAR review, the referee awarded a penalty to Bayern. From the 11-meter spot, Kane calmly converted, beating goalkeeper Backhaus to open the scoring.

Just three minutes later, Luis Diaz skillfully advanced down the left flank before providing a perfect assist for Kane. From the edge of the box, the 32-year-old striker fired a low, dangerous shot into the far corner, doubling the visitors' lead.

Bayern maintained control throughout the match in Bremen, with Leon Goretzka adding another goal in the 70th minute to seal the victory. Kane's overall tally now stands at 41 goals across all competitions, 13 of which have come from penalty kicks.

Bayern played the match without Michael Olise, who was suspended. This marked the first time in 89 games across all competitions that the French winger had been absent since joining the club in 2024. At halftime, team captain Manuel Neuer was substituted due to a recurrence of a calf injury.

In matchday 23, Bayern will face Frankfurt. Kane is expected to extend his consecutive goal-scoring streak to six matches. He currently boasts a career total of 500 goals for both club and national teams.
