The artwork, located in Barcelona's Joanic Square, depicted Lamine Yamal as a superhero with the letter "L" on his chest instead of the traditional "S," referencing the Spanish winger's name.
Initially, reports suggested the mural was digitally altered, but journalist Edu Polo confirmed it was actual vandalism. "This time it's not a fake photo or AI. I just took the photo myself," Polo stated.
The vandalized section featured seven dwarves from the fairy tale "Snow White," added to the original artwork. This act is believed to be a direct reference to Yamal's controversial birthday party on 13/7.
According to Spanish media, approximately 200 guests attended the "Mafia"-themed party, including Yamal's friends, family, and teammates. The event was held at a private villa, with the location kept secret until the last minute.
The Barca star faced criticism for hiring a group of people with dwarfism to perform. This drew the attention of the Association of People with Achondroplasia and other Skeletal Dysplasias with Dwarfism (ADEE), who threatened legal action if the young player violated anti-discrimination laws.
The party also sparked controversy with reports that some models were required to have specific "bust measurements" and be available 24 hours a day.
Spanish model Andrea Calvo, Miss Teenager Spain 2021, revealed she was invited to the event. Calvo said the organizers' requirements were strict and vague, offering over 23,000 USD but without clarifying the party's true purpose. "I have screenshots; they asked for blond girls with certain bust sizes. I declined because it seemed shady," she shared on television.

Yamal is currently preparing for the new season with Barca. On 4/8, he and his teammates defeated Daegu 5-0 in a friendly match in South Korea. Barca will then return to Spain to face Calcio Como in the annual Joan Gamper Cup friendly on 10/8.
