The new 10-year deal is worth 1 billion GBP (approximately 1.35 billion USD), marking the first kit sponsorship in football history to exceed 1 billion GBP. Man City will receive 135 million USD annually from Puma.

The previous record was held by Real Madrid's 10-year, 950 million GBP (1.27 billion USD) agreement with Adidas, signed in 2019, which paid the club 127 million USD per season.
Man Utd also previously held the British record with their 90 million GBP (121 million USD) annual deal with Adidas, signed in 2023. However, the "Red Devils" face a 13 million USD reduction for any season they fail to qualify for the Champions League. This means Adidas will pay Man Utd only 108 million USD for the 2025-2026 season.
Puma's contract with Man City grants them the right to manufacture the team's kits and merchandise. Man City fans looking to purchase these items will find them at Puma stores. In addition to global brand promotion through Man City matches, Puma profits from merchandise sales, with Man City receiving a percentage of the profits based on their agreement.
According to leading accounting firm Deloitte in 2025, Man City had the second-highest revenue in the world at 972 million USD, trailing behind Real Madrid's 1.2 billion USD. PSG followed with 935 million USD, then Man Utd with 894 million USD, and Bayern Munich with 888 million USD.
