Nearly 2,000 athletes complete over 300,000 km at IAV Run 2025

IAV Run 2025 online race attracts 2,000 athletes, accumulating over 300,000 km in two months on vRace platform.

The second season of IAV Run, organized by the Insurance Association of Vietnam (IAV), ran from mid-September to late November. It served as a sports platform for insurance industry employees and the wider community, fostering a large-scale physical training campaign rooted in community spirit.

The flexible online running and walking format allowed participants to choose their own training times and locations, while also connecting individual achievements to the overall leaderboard.

A highlight of IAV Run 2025 was its multi-stage challenge system, designed to encourage endurance and discipline. In the "15-day Endurance" challenge, athlete Hoang Van Ke ranked first, completing a total distance of 78,78 km by consistently maintaining at least 5 km daily. This result embodied the challenge's spirit, emphasizing sustained activity over speed.

Meanwhile, the "First 100 km" challenge saw athlete Phan Thanh Hung complete the 100 km mark in 67 hours from the start, leading this category's leaderboard. This achievement highlighted proactive time management and determination to conquer the challenge early in the campaign.

In the overall rankings, athlete Thanh Vinh emerged as the top performer, accumulating 2,604 km throughout the event and securing first place in the entire campaign. Statistics from the organizers revealed that 37 athletes surpassed the 1,000 km mark. This figure underscores the high commitment of participants and the widespread appeal of physical training within the insurance industry community and supporting running groups.

Beyond individual achievements, IAV Run 2025 emphasized community value through the "Insurance for Community" challenge, combining physical activity with contributions to the Hope charity fund. Each kilometer not only represented personal health improvement but also became a practical act of sharing.

According to an IAV representative, maintaining the online running format allowed the race to reach a diverse audience, from beginners to experienced athletes. The multi-level challenges enabled participants to choose suitable goals, motivating individuals and teams to accumulate achievements together.

After two seasons, IAV Run is establishing itself as an annual event for the insurance industry, promoting exercise habits, strengthening internal connections, and extending a positive influence to the community. With over 300,000 km accumulated in the 2025 season, IAV Run demonstrates the endurance of a sports campaign linked with social responsibility.
