*Goals: Lee 85, Ramos 90+4 - Ven 39, Romero 48
Both of Tottenham's goals originated from free kicks in midfield. In the 39th minute, goalkeeper Vicario launched a long ball towards the left side of the penalty area for Cristian Romero to head inwards. New signing Joao Palhinha's follow-up shot struck the goalkeeper's hand, hit the crossbar, and rebounded. Center-back Mickey van de Ven was perfectly positioned to slot the ball into the empty net, opening the scoring.
Early in the second half, another long ball from defender Pedro Porro found its way to the left side of the penalty area. Romero, escaping the offside trap, had a free header, sending a low shot past goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, who despite getting a touch, couldn't prevent the goal.

Tottenham appeared poised to win their first UEFA Super Cup, holding a 2-0 lead until the 84th minute. However, the Europa League champions couldn't withstand PSG's relentless pressure. In the 85th minute, South Korean midfielder Lee Kang-in unleashed a low, angled long-range shot, leaving goalkeeper Vicario with no chance.
PSG continued their offensive, ultimately equalizing in stoppage time. Ousmane Dembele's cross found striker Goncalo Ramos, who, unmarked, headed the ball into the far corner. This goal sent the Champions League winners into a penalty shootout.
