PUBG Mobile launches year-end community campaign

PUBG Mobile players and Vietnamese gamers can experience "Winter Festival" themed activities both in-game and in real life, starting this December.

Leading survival game PUBG Mobile has initiated the "Run The Zone For Good" community event, partnering with the UpRace 2025 running project. This campaign combines in-game and real-world activities to promote health and community sports.

The "Run The Zone For Good" campaign marks the opening of the 2025 "Winter Festival" in Vietnam, aiming to foster a joyful atmosphere for the community before the new year. This annual in-game event, first launched in 2020, has consistently garnered strong support from both in-game and real-life communities.

"Running the zone" is a familiar term in the survival game PUBG Mobile, representing a symbolic and strategic action in every match. A representative from the event organizing committee stated that the spirit of overcoming challenges and discovering personal limits is embodied in both the in-game action of "running the zone" and each stride taken on the actual running track.

This event will take place from 5/12/2025 to 5/1/2026, supported by the UpRace running project, an initiative by VNG. Through this collaboration, PUBG Mobile aims to inspire and connect the gaming community with running enthusiasts, spreading a passion for sports and encouraging physical activity and training.

"The journey of ‘running the zone’ has long symbolized resilience, agility, and determination to overcome in-game limits," a PUBG Mobile representative said. "This is how we affirm PUBG Mobile's role in uniting the community and leading entertainment trends for young people, providing Vietnamese gamers with an environment to interact and share positive aspects of life."

To launch this campaign, PUBG Mobile will host activities in new game modes within version 4.1, offering players numerous opportunities to receive in-game and real-life rewards. Additionally, the player community can participate in the online UpRace run and experience the UpRace Day 2025 event in TP HCM on 14/12. This event is expected to attract 2,000 participants across three distances: 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km.

The survival game PUBG Mobile, published by VNGGames, has been honored with "Esports Mobile Game of the Year" in 2025 and "Best Games of 2024" awards. VNGGames announced that in October, this community donated 1 billion VND to charity activities. Meanwhile, the UpRace event, held over six years, has attracted more than 632,000 participants, contributing over 31.8 billion VND to social organizations, according to VNG.
