Puma joins the fifth season of the Hanoi night run as the main sponsor. This partnership is part of Puma's global "Go Wild" campaign and marks a significant milestone for the brand since its official entry into the Vietnamese market.
Under the theme "Go Wild Midnight", the VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight powered by Puma, held on 30/11, encourages runners to express their unique personalities and prioritize the joy of sports. Puma and the organizing committee will offer experiential activities at the Expo area, including interactive "fun zones" with vibrant themes. The exhibition space will showcase a diverse range of sports apparel and accessories, catering to various needs across different age groups.
The official race jersey, to be announced soon, will also embody the "Go Wild" spirit, allowing each runner to express their unique style and story. The course is designed for runners to experience Hanoi's distinctive cultural atmosphere at night, while also enjoying the simple pleasure of running.
A Puma representative stated that prior to the VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight powered by Puma, the brand had partnered with the system for several other races. For this night run, the brand considers it to have unique characteristics not found in other locations. Over four seasons, the race has shown strong appeal to the amateur running community and has led the integration of sports with Hanoi's night tourism.
In its new role, Puma hopes to be a catalyst for sports enthusiasts, encouraging them to find personal joy and express their style during their experiences and competitions, rather than solely focusing on breaking limits or achieving high performance.

The VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight powered by Puma will kick off at midnight on 30/11. This year's race will continue to guide runners in exploring the capital's cultural beauty at night. With each step, runners will experience the city's blend of ancient charm and modern vibrancy, passing iconic landmarks such as: Ho Guom, the Old Quarter, the Grand Opera House, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, all in the cool night air. The race course has been adjusted from previous seasons and details will be announced soon.
The 2024 season saw over 11,000 participants, with 80% of runners coming from outside Hanoi. A total of 2,436 runners (over 20%) set personal records, a figure higher than the average for races in Vietnam. This high personal record rate demonstrates the favorable course and competition conditions. Additionally, the participation of elite Vietnamese and international athletes enhances the competitive aspect and professional quality of the race.
