After an hour's rest to recover, the 19-year-old competed in the mixed doubles final. Duong partnered with Emilia Schmidt, his former teammate from Team Selkirk and a familiar face on the American APP circuit. They faced Ryler and Megan.
Schmidt and Duong played well together, leading 8-5. However, Ryler and Megan rallied to take a 10-9 lead. Schmidt and Duong managed to recover, winning the first set 11-10.
The second set was closely contested, but Schmidt made several errors, allowing their opponents to gain points. Duong also struggled to execute his shots effectively, and Ryler and Megan won the set 11-7, forcing a decisive third set.
In the final set, both teams battled point for point to 8-8. Schmidt began to tire, making more mistakes. Duong carried the team, but with their opponents consistently targeting Schmidt, they lost 9-11, missing out on the championship.
An hour later, in the men's doubles final, Duong partnered with Harsh Mehta, the men's doubles champion at the 2025 Panas Malaysia Open, part of the PPA Tour Asia. They faced Rob Nunnery and Ryler.
Mehta's solid and agile play combined effectively with Duong's skillful technique. They secured a 2-0 victory, earning Duong his second title at the tournament.

Duong Thien Quang, born in 2006 in Manhattan Beach, California, to Vietnamese parents, is known as Quang Duong. His father, a former table tennis player, encouraged him to try various racket sports from a young age.
Duong initially played tennis and table tennis before discovering pickleball in 2020. Since turning professional, he has achieved impressive results at international tournaments, reaching number six in the world men's singles PPA Rankings by July 2025.
The 19-year-old talent is admired by the Vietnamese pickleball community and frequently visits Vietnam to compete, connect with fans, and share his expertise. He is recognized for promoting Vietnamese pickleball on the international stage. In addition to pickleball, he plays tennis and practices martial arts for fitness, but not professionally.
Recently, Duong was removed from the PPA Rankings and the MLP after the US Pickleball Association (UPA) terminated his professional contract. The UPA cited a breach of his exclusive commercial contract due to his unannounced absence from their tournament.
However, Duong's father and representative, Duong Duy Duc, stated that the removal and contract termination would not affect his son's career. He wants his son to develop his pickleball career globally, not just in the US.
According to the DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating), as of 10/7, Duong is ranked number one in men's singles with 6,865 points and number one in men's doubles with 6,602 points.
