Rashford replaced Raphinha on the left wing at the start of the second half. Despite having only 4 days to acclimate, the English newcomer contributed actively to Barca's gameplay. In the 77th minute, Rashford passed the ball from midfield to Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker then passed to the right wing, where another new signing, Roony Bardghji, curled a shot into the net to make it 2-1.

Earlier, Rashford had a direct shot on goal. He dribbled past a defender and then curled a shot into the opposing goalkeeper's hands.
Barca didn't fully exert themselves in their first friendly match of the summer training tour. In the first half, Raphinha missed two opportunities, heading a close-range shot into the goalkeeper after a cross from Lamine Yamal, and then narrowly missing the post with a long-range shot.
Barca opened the scoring in the 33rd minute from a scramble in the box. Following a corner kick from the left wing, defender Eric Garcia quickly pounced on the loose ball and slotted it into the Vissel Kobe net. However, Andres Iniesta's former team also demonstrated their top-tier Asian class. In the 42nd minute, after a pass from the left wing, Miyashiro Taisei turned and fired a shot past goalkeeper Joan Garcia, equalizing at 1-1.
Ten minutes after Rashforf's contribution to the go-ahead goal, 17-year-old Pedro Samiento's volley from 16 meters sealed a 3-1 victory for Barca.

After the friendly match in Japan, Rashford and his teammates will travel to South Korea to face FC Seoul on 31/7 and Daegu FC on 4/8. They will then return to Spain for the Joan Gamper Trophy friendly against Como on 10/8. On 16/8, Barca will begin their La Liga title defense with an away match against Mallorca.
