Rashford entered the match at the start of the second half, replacing Robert Lewandowski, with Barca already leading 3-0. In the 65th minute, he received a cross from defender Eric Garcia from the right and slotted the ball home from just over 10 meters into the far corner.

After scoring, Rashford didn't celebrate effusively, simply walking towards Garcia and exchanging high-fives with his new teammates. In the stands, a Barca fan held up and waved a Manchester United jersey with Rashford's number 10 amidst the heavy rain.

Rashford is wearing the number 14 jersey at Barca for the 2025-2026 season while on loan from Manchester United. This was his third appearance for Barca during their Asian tour. In the first two matches, Barca defeated Vissel Kobe 3-1 and FC Seoul 7-3, respectively, but Rashford wasn't involved in any of the goals. This time, he found the net in their final friendly in South Korea.

Rashford has been tried in various attacking positions at Barca, from left and right wing to center forward. He may not be a regular starter for the Spanish club next season but is expected to be a strategic option off the bench. Barca secured his loan without a fee but are covering the 27-year-old's full salary for the year.

Barca concluded their tour with an impressive 15 goals in three matches. They will now return to Barcelona to prepare for their match against Como in the Joan Gamper Trophy at Camp Nou on the evening of 10/8. Hansi Flick's team will then face Mallorca in their La Liga opener six days later.
