On 14/7, while traveling in a car with Cristiano Jr, a friend posted a livestream video on social media.
When a friend asked if Lamine Yamal is currently better than Cristiano Ronaldo, Cristiano Jr replied, "Currently? Yes, but Yamal hasn't won anything. He's very good, but he hasn't won anything yet".

Yamal has been playing professionally since April 2023. To date, the 18-year-old has won Euro 2024 with the Spanish national team, two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona.
Individually, Yamal has won the Golden Boy, Kopa Trophy, Young Player of the Euro, and Goal of the Tournament awards. In the 2024 Ballon d'Or race, the recently turned 18-year-old finished 8th.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo began his professional career almost five years before Yamal was born. Over two decades, he became one of the best players in football history, amassing a huge list of achievements including: Euro 2016, two Nations League titles, five Champions Leagues, three Premier Leagues, two La Ligas, and two Serie A titles.

In their head-to-head encounter in June - the Nations League final, Ronaldo and Portugal defeated Yamal's Spain in a 5-3 penalty shootout. The 40-year-old forward himself contributed a goal in the 2-2 draw after 120 minutes.
Cristiano Jr was born in 2010. Following his father's career path, he has trained at the academies of Juventus, Manchester United, and now Al Nassr. Since May, Cristiano Jr has played four matches for the Portugal U15 national team, scoring two goals.
