Days later, Schweinsteiger went public with his new girlfriend, Silva Kapitanova, during a vacation in Greece. The two had known each other for years, with their children attending the same school in Mallorca, Spain, before their relationship turned romantic.
A close friend of Ivanovic revealed that Schweinsteiger's open affection with Kapitanova was a deliberate attempt to provoke his ex-wife. "Ivanovic has taken this very calmly, unbothered by Schweinsteiger's behavior, though she believes it's intentional," Sport reported.
