The U23 Southeast Asia Championship 2025 takes place in Indonesia from 15/7 to 29/7, featuring 10 teams from the region. The teams are divided into three groups, playing a round-robin format to select the top three teams from each group and the best second-placed team to advance to the semi-finals.
As the defending champion, U23 Vietnam enters this year's tournament under new coach Kim Sang-sik. This is the first time the Korean strategist has led the U23 team. The tournament serves as coach Kim's first test in his new role and is a crucial warm-up for the long-term goals of the U23 Asian qualifiers and the SEA Games.

According to SCTV's statistics, the trend of watching sports at home is increasingly popular, especially after the pandemic. Viewers can choose the content, time, and viewing device that suits their personal schedules. Youth tournaments like the U23 Southeast Asia Championship have garnered significant attention due to the legacy and appeal of new players. Consequently, integrated television and internet services are preferred thanks to stable speeds, image quality, and flexible accessibility.
To meet this demand, SCTV says it is continually upgrading and investing in technology and content. Alongside national channels, the company also focuses on developing a system of specialized sports channels like SCTV15 and SCTV HD Sports, featuring domestic and international tournaments, along with in-depth analysis programs.
The SCTV Online platform comes with replay, schedule reminder, and personalized content features. These utilities cater to new consumer habits, particularly suitable for young people, families, and busy audiences.

To meet customer needs, this July, SCTV is rolling out several promotional offers for television and internet services: gifts for package upgrades with a commitment of 6 months or more; free installation and additional usage time for new or transferring customers. Customers currently using television who add internet service will receive the same offers as new customers; bonus usage months or gifts based on the chosen payment cycle (3, 6, or 12 months) and flexible conversion of offers between usage time and physical gifts.
Also this month, SCTV launches the SCTV+ loyalty program, integrated within the MySCTV app. Users will automatically accumulate points when paying for services (1,000 VND = 1 point), which can be redeemed for gifts and member tier status: Loyal, Silver, Gold, and Diamond.
Existing customers will also receive initial points based on their previous service usage. The company states this program aims to personalize the experience and enhance connections with users in the sports television field.
Customers can register, pay, accumulate points, and upgrade packages directly on the MySCTV app or on the website. The system supports payment via e-wallets (MoMo, ZaloPay, ShopeePay...), banks, or the hotline 1900 1878.
