Besides the former Thai national team player, the Southeast Asian Police Football Championship also features other current and former professional players. Cambodia's team includes 12 young players, mostly from Visakha FC. Singapore also has 15 players, five of whom play for the U22 national team.
The host nation, Vietnam, is also fielding professional players. Vietnam Police I includes players from Cong An Ha Noi FC, with young talents like midfielder Hoang Van Toan and defenders Ha Van Phuong and Giap Tuan Duong. Vietnam Police II draws its players from the PVF-CAND, a first division team, featuring former Vietnamese national team players Nguyen Huy Hung, Phi Minh Long, and Mai Tien Thanh, along with Nguyen Duc Phu, Le Van Dai, and Tay Van Toan.
Meanwhile, Timor Leste and Australia are fielding amateur players who are currently serving in the police force. "We come to the tournament with the determination to win, embracing the philosophy of former Australian national team and Tottenham Hotspur coach Ange Postecoglou," said coach Tim Stainton at a press conference on 6/7 in Hanoi.
