According to American sports publication Sport Illustrated (SI), Williams' new appearance is almost unrecognizable, even to ardent tennis fans.

American entertainment site Blast commented, "Serena looks amazing, and she knows it. The mother of two turned up the heat this summer by showing off the results of her gym sessions. She caused quite a stir with these images,".

Since turning pro 30 years ago, Williams has been known for her powerful physique and aggressive playing style. She boasts 23 Grand Slam singles titles, 14 doubles titles with her sister Venus Williams, and two mixed doubles championships. As the only player to achieve a career "Golden Slam" in both singles and doubles, she's considered a tennis legend.

Williams retired from professional tennis in 2022 at age 41 to pursue business and entertainment ventures.
