The Sports Festival 2026 is expected to attract around 17,000 athletes and guests participating in competitions, community exchanges, and entertainment programs. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 1/8 at NovaWorld Phan Thiet's central square, with an estimated 10,000 attendees.
The program is organized by the People's Public Security Sports Association in coordination with the Lam Dong provincial People's Committee (UBND), relevant departments and agencies, and NovaGroup. It receives support from the Vietnam Sports Administration and National Sports Federations.
A key innovation of this year's program is its expanded scale, increasing the number of tournaments and connecting competitions with resort tourism, entertainment, and community activities.

The festival's schedule includes 10 sports disciplines and numerous national and international tournaments. These events feature the National Triathlon Championship, Master Tour 100 - International Tennis Open 35+, ASEAN Police Open Golf Tournament 2026, the second People's Public Security Open Golf Tournament, the '81 Years Journey - For National Security' run, People's Public Security Open Pickleball, an international women's beach volleyball tournament, and an international beach tennis tournament, alongside other sports competitions and exchange activities.

The Sports Festival 2026 also aims to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution, Vietnam's National Day, and the 81st anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Tradition Day.
According to Tran Duc Phan, vice president of the People's Public Security Sports Association, the Sports Festival 2026 is not merely a sporting arena. It also concretizes the cooperation between the People's Public Security Sports Association and NovaGroup. The event is envisioned as an annual fixture during major holidays, contributing to the promotion of physical training, enhancement of spiritual life, and development of sports activities integrated with tourism.
NovaWorld Phan Thiet was chosen as the host venue due to its infrastructure, large-scale event space, and comprehensive service ecosystem supporting accommodation, entertainment, and sports competitions. Organizers expect the event to boost tourism appeal, broaden visitor experiences, and support local tourism development.
