The V-League 2025-2026 season kicks off on 15/8/2025. The 26-round tournament will feature 182 matches between 14 clubs.
The upcoming season will see exciting derby matches resulting from provincial and municipal mergers. Additionally, two relegation spots have been added, increasing competition across the board.

Organizers have committed to investing in infrastructure and technology, adding another VAR vehicle, bringing the total to 5. The VPF also aims to fully implement and professionalize VAR technology in all matches.
The total prize money for the top three teams is 9.5 billion VND, with the champion receiving 5 billion VND. This is the second consecutive year LPBank has sponsored the national championship.
At today's ceremony, the organizing committee unveiled a new brand identity. The new logo, with its sharp design and prominent gold color, marks a significant transformation for the tournament, symbolizing the ambition to reach new heights and confidence in the future of Vietnamese football.
The 2025-2026 season also marks the 4th consecutive year that FPT Play holds the broadcasting rights, collaborating in the production and broadcast of national professional football tournaments. This year, they plan to integrate Dolby sound technology, bringing the excitement of each stadium to viewers. They will also pilot the production of high-quality matches with a standard of 10-12 cameras per match.
