As two entities supporting the athletes, VNGGames and the Vietnam Recreational and Electronic Sports Association (VIRESA) view the 2025 PMGC as a launchpad for Vietnamese esports athletes to gain experience on a major stage. This prepares them for the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan in 2026, where PUBG Mobile will be a medal event.
