The Vnexpress Marathon Can Tho 2025 collection features shirts for all participants and finisher shirts for the 21km and 42km races. In its inaugural year, the three shirt designs embrace minimalism and lightweight materials for comfort, while conveying a connection to the region's distinct natural and cultural characteristics.

The participant shirts, available in T-shirt and singlet versions, feature a dominant blue hue representing the refreshing Hau Giang River. Accents of orange, red, and purple mimic the sunrise over Ninh Kieu Wharf and the reflections from boats at the floating markets. Asymetrical diagonal stripes create a sense of motion, evoking a youthful and dynamic energy that resonates with the Mekong Delta landscape while maintaining a modern aesthetic.
Logos of the race and sponsors are placed on the front, sleeves, and back. According to the organizers, the free-flowing design of these elements embodies the joyful and approachable spirit of this first race in the Mekong Delta.
The finisher shirts for each distance reflect different aspects of the region. The 21km design uses orange and blue tones, suggesting boats gliding through the water at dawn. The layered colors, transitioning from dark to light, create the effect of rippling water under the morning sun.

Meanwhile, the 42km finisher shirt combines green and earthy yellow, depicting the orchards, rice paddies, and alluvial soil. "These contrasting colors blend vertically, reflecting the life of the people of Can Tho and commemorating the runners' achievements," a representative of the organizing committee shared.
The word "FINISHER" and the completed distance are prominently displayed on the back of the shirt. The Vietnamese flag is placed at the back of the neck, a familiar detail on shirts from the Vnexpress Marathon series. The shirts are produced by Newton, a long-time partner of the event.

The Vnexpress Marathon Can Tho 2025 is the first race in the series to be held in the Mekong Delta. According to the organizers, choosing Can Tho is part of a strategy to expand the national running map and offer runners a chance to experience the region's unique culture.
The race route is expected to pass Ninh Kieu Wharf, Can Tho Bridge, riverside streets, and residential areas, blending modern city life with the beauty of the waterways. The race will take place on 14/9, when the pleasant weather and temperatures between 26-31 degrees Celsius are ideal for runners to achieve their best times.
Besides the race, participants can explore the Mekong Delta, visit the Cai Rang floating market, and enjoy local specialties like fermented purple sticky rice cake, grilled snakehead fish, and orchard fruits. With over 10,000 runners expected, the Vnexpress Marathon Can Tho 2025 promises to be a vibrant sports and tourism event in Can Tho.
