Where to watch the AFF U23 Championship in Vietnam?

The AFF U23 Championship, taking place from 15/7 to 29/7 in Indonesia, will be broadcast in its entirety on FPT Play.

This is the fifth edition of the tournament organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), featuring all 10 national teams from the region. The matches are scheduled to be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (Jakarta) and Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium (Bekasi).

Returning after a two-year cycle, this tournament is considered crucial for the development of youth football in Southeast Asia. For Vietnam, besides defending their title, the tournament is an opportunity for coach Kim Sang-sik and his players to improve their fitness and tactics, preparing for important tournaments such as the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games at the end of 2025.

According to the draw results, Vietnam is in Group B with Cambodia and Laos. Host Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Brunei Darussalam are in Group A. Group C consists of Thailand, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste. The teams will play a round-robin format to determine the top three teams from each group and the best second-placed team to advance to the next round.

Before departing for Indonesia on 14/7, coach Kim will announce the final squad of 23 players. With a favorable group, he and his team are expected to help Vietnam win their third consecutive title in this tournament, following their victories in 2022 and 2023.

As the rights holder, FPT Play is committed to making improvements, aiming to enhance the quality of tournaments and provide optimal benefits for viewers. The broadcaster will air the matches on various platforms, including terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, internet, mobile, public screenings, and social media.
