This year's Wimbledon singles champion will receive 4.1 million USD, a significant increase from last year's 3.6 million. But for Emma Navarro, this sum doesn't hold much weight, considering she could inherit billions from her father Benjamin Navarro's 4.8 billion USD fortune.

Mr. Navarro is the founder and owner of Sherman Financial Group, the financial group that owns Credit One Bank. The Navarro family empire also includes a large chain of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
At 62, he is believed to have finalized his will for his four children, including Emma. Among the family's assets are the Charleston Open and the Cincinnati Open – tournaments familiar to the 24-year-old.
Despite her privileged background, Navarro emphasizes her disciplined and purposeful life. "We wake up at 6 a.m. and head to the tennis court," the American player of Italian descent says. "I'm aware of the discussions surrounding my family's wealth, but I dislike talking about it. I was raised traditionally and learned resilience, a strong work ethic, and a sense of purpose."
Navarro's career saw a significant boost last year when she was named the most improved player of 2024. She secured two WTA Tour titles, reached the Wimbledon quarterfinals, and the US Open semifinals. Earlier this year, she advanced to the Australian Open quarterfinals and won a WTA 500 title in Mexico.
Navarro honed her tennis skills at a prestigious all-girls private school in New York, further developing her game at the collegiate level before joining the WTA Tour in 2019. After her loss to Aryna Sabalenka in the 2024 US Open semifinals, Navarro achieved her career-high ranking of world number 8.
At this year's Wimbledon, she won her first two rounds in straight sets, including a victory over former champion Petra Kvitova. In the third round, Navarro rallied to defeat defending champion Barbora Krejcikova in three sets. Today, the American player will face 18-year-old rising star Mirra Andreeva, the tournament's 7th seed.

"Tennis is my everything right now," the world number 10 responded when asked about finding romance on the tour. "I'm aware of a few couples on the Tour. I'm not ruling out the possibility, but I don't know what the future holds."
