Dang Thi Phuong, director of Nhat Minh Food Production and Import-Export Company, has been arrested for allegedly selling tens of thousands of tons of animal feed oil as cooking oil.
Animal feed oil used in food preparation poses risks of cancer, liver and kidney failure, cardiovascular disease, digestive problems, metabolic disorders, and a weakened immune system.
