The letter written by the character Ta in the film "Mua do" shares striking similarities with a letter penned by martyr Le Van Huynh, who, anticipating his death, instructed his family on how to find his remains.

Mua do is the first war film to surpass 200 billion dong in revenue, and is likely to become the most successful Vietnamese film ever.

Before building the "Mua do" film set by the Thach Han river, the crew had to clear mines, as the area still contained many unexploded ordnance from the war.
