Former abbot of White Horse Temple, Shi Yinle, has been selected as the new leader of the Shaolin Temple, following the scandal surrounding his predecessor, Shi Yongxin.
Abbot Shi Yongxin is suspected of embezzlement, misappropriation of temple funds and assets, having improper relationships with several women, and fathering children out of wedlock.
