The Ministry of Education is urging localities to review teacher promotions, as some areas have neglected this process for ten years, impacting teachers' salaries and allowances.
Preschool and general education teachers could see their professional preferential allowance increase by 15%, bringing the total to 50-80% of their salary, in addition to their basic pay and seniority allowance, according to a proposal from the Ministry of Education and Training.
