Police have apprehended two suspects responsible for the 1,8 billion VND robbery at Vietcombank's Tra Ba transaction office in Gia Lai, recovering four firearms and other evidence.

Gia Lai provincial police are expected to hold a public press conference on the arrest of a suspect in the Vietcombank branch robbery on 19/1.

Nguyen Thanh Luan, 31, was apprehended immediately after exiting a bank in Lao Cai, where he had attempted to rob a stack of 500,000 Vietnamese dong banknotes.
