The Ministry of health has requested local authorities to develop surveillance plans and enhance the capacity of food testing systems in the market, especially for infant milk.
On the evening of 27/1, the Ministry of Health directed authorities and e-commerce platforms to urgently recall and remove information regarding 5 imported milk products suspected of containing cereulide, a toxin from Bacillus cereus bacteria.
