Over 800 students at Thanh Da and Lam Son secondary schools have suspended semi-boarding meals starting today, following a food poisoning incident at Binh Quoi Tay primary school.

Hundreds of families are grappling with arranging four daily school trips for their children and securing lunch and nap spots after Binh Quoi Tay Primary School suspended its semi-boarding service due to suspected food poisoning.

More than 2,900 schools in Hanoi are mandated to review their suppliers of food, ingredients, and drinking water for semi-boarding meals, following the discovery of a network distributing 300 tons of contaminated pork.
