The Ministry of industry and trade has urged localities to promptly introduce policies to support households in installing self-consumption rooftop solar power, similar to Bac Ninh and Lai Chau.

Instead of the current division into three regions – North, Central, and South – the Ministry of Industry and Trade proposes that the solar power generation price framework be determined by each province and city.
