The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health is urging residents to donate blood as demand rises and reserves dwindle.

Vedan Vietnam hosted its 5th annual blood drive, themed "One Drop of Blood - A Million Hearts," in collaboration with the Dong Nai Red Cross and Cho Ray Hospital.

Many people have received calls falsely reporting "irregularities" in their blood donation results, requesting photos of their ID cards, VNeID accounts, and Zalo connections to "guide registration for examinations, tests, or identity verification".
