On 18/8, three days before the main rehearsal at Ba Dinh Square, military vehicles, including tanks, armored vehicles, navy, and air force vehicles, moved from Mieu Mon to central Hanoi.
On the evening of 18/8, a convoy of armored vehicles and tactical trucks traveled from Mieu Mon National Training Center to the Ministry of National Defense headquarters in Hanoi to prepare for rehearsals in Ba Dinh Square.
43 marching units, 18 stationary units, and 14 military vehicle units participated in the second full rehearsal at Mieu Mon for the 80th National Day parade.
