The US Air Force is seeking contractors to upgrade the guidance and fuze system of the GBU-57 massive ordnance penetrator, a weapon reportedly used in a recent strike on Iranian facilities.
Washington did not drop the GBU-57 on the Isfahan nuclear facility during Operation Night Hammer, apparently because it lies too deep for US weaponry to reach.
