Billionaire to visit Ha Long Bay for National Day holiday

A group including an American billionaire is scheduled to travel from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay for a special three-day, two-night itinerary during the National Day holiday.

On 29/8, a representative from the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism confirmed a group of four high-spending visitors will be touring Ha Long Bay on 2/9. Another source revealed the group includes an American billionaire.

The group will depart from Hanoi, arriving at Van Don port via seaplane before embarking on a yacht to tour Ha Long Bay. They will then experience the "billionaire tour" of Ha Long Bay, launched in 11/2024. A highlight of the itinerary is exploring the Tra San - Cong Do area, known for its natural sandbars, coral reefs, diverse marine life, and areas ranging from 100 to 800 square meters.

The tour operator has previously stated that guests experience secluded and pristine areas of Ha Long Bay. Should they wish to visit popular caves like Thien Cung Cave or Sung Sot Cave, arrangements will be made for a completely private experience.

In February, two American millionaires in the financial sector, Jeff Grinspoon and Jon Thomas Foley, visited Quang Ninh and experienced this special Ha Long Bay tour. According to the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism representative, since the tour's launch late last year, three or four groups of ultra-wealthy tourists have taken part.

On 2/9, the representative will also be present at Van Don port to welcome this group. The representative emphasized that Quang Ninh province values the presence of these high-net-worth international visitors and highlighted the region's diverse tourism offerings catering to all types of travelers.
