Hanoi is setting up temporary shelters and offering free parking for residents and visitors attending the rehearsals and main ceremony for National Day on 2/9.

Hanoi's Department of Construction on 26/8 requested local authorities to arrange free parking areas for people attending the rehearsals and the National Day ceremony on 2/9.

18 communes and wards have identified parking areas, including Bo De, Bach Mai, Hai Ba Trung, O Cho Dua, Ba Dinh, Cua Nam, Dai Mo, Giang Vo, Khuong Dinh, Kien Hung, Lang, Ngoc Ha, Tay Ho, Yen Hoa, Yen So, Vinh Thanh, Tuong Mai, and Ba Vi.

These areas will have staff to guide and manage parking, and authorities will continue to identify additional parking spots to meet the demand for the rehearsals and the main ceremony on 2/9.
