HorecFex Vietnam - a digital transformation event for the hospitality industry

HorecFex Vietnam 2025 is expected to welcome over 3,500 guests, 55 international speakers, and businesses to discuss technology applications in hotel and culinary management on August 26-27.

HorecFex is an in-depth forum where businesses in the HORECA (hotel-restaurant-F&B) industry can update management trends and learn about artificial intelligence and automation technology applications.

The event is co-organized by HorecFex Vietnam, the Vietnam Hotel Association, and the Ariyana International Convention Centre. This is the second consecutive year the event has been held in Da Nang. In 2024, the conference attracted 2,500 guests and major corporations like Microsoft and Oracle. The 2025 version is expanding with over 80 technology booths and the participation of 500 domestic and international hotels and restaurants. Attendees can experience robot receptionists, robot servers, Unitree robot dogs, and Meta's VR glasses, demonstrating how technology is shaping hospitality services.

Nguyen Duc Quynh, founder of HorecFex Vietnam, believes that in the face of fierce competition, businesses cannot afford to ignore technology. "HorecFex 2025 is a place to find solutions, inspiration, and partners to enhance customer experiences and achieve sustainable development," Quynh said.

Alongside the exhibition, the event features a series of seminars revolving around three main themes: hotel industry orientation, sustainable development, and digital transformation. Discussion sessions will focus on MICE tourism, spa and wellness, sustainable tourism certification, human resource training, and restaurant operations optimization. The "Mastering New Technologies" seminar will introduce AI and ChatGPT applications in management and marketing. There will also be a session honoring women in the industry and the launch of the "Vietnam - World Culinary Capital" project. Major corporations such as Accor, IHG, and Hyatt are expected to participate.

Andre Pierre, CEO of HorecFex Vietnam, said that Da Nang's continued selection as the host city affirms its position as a leading convention and exhibition center in the country. "Da Nang currently has over 2,000 hotels with a capacity of 100,000 room nights. This requires streamlined management and modern technology. HorecFex is where managers can find solutions," he said.

The organizers hope that HorecFex 2025 will have a dual impact, helping Vietnamese service businesses reach global standards while elevating Da Nang's position on the Asian MICE map. With the support of the National Administration of Tourism and city leaders, the event is expected to attract further investment, making Da Nang a sustainable service and technology destination in the region.
