The giant Party History book is one of the most popular check-in spots. A tip for a great photo here is to wear white, especially an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), to stand out against the red background. |
The "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" exhibition in Dong Anh, extended until 15/9, attracts visitors not only for its exhibits and experiences but also for its artistic photo opportunities.
A highlight is the Nhan Dan newspaper exhibit, a popular spot for souvenir photos.
This area makes a strong visual impact with its dominant red color scheme and a system of curved iron frames forming a dome. From this dome hang large newspaper pages and posters marking important historical milestones. The presence of President Ho Chi Minh's image and headlines about Party Congresses adds a sense of solemnity and evokes memories of historical events.

The exhibition also features prominent backdrops with Party symbols, such as a large golden hammer and sickle hanging high, a red star in the center, and red ribbons swirling around. This photo shows the large curved screen cinema area at the exhibition. It's quite difficult to take photos here due to the crowds. However, if you're lucky enough to go early or on a less crowded day, you can capture some impressive shots. |
Next to it is an exhibit of developmental milestones, designed as a "timeline" with large years printed on a red background, winding to form a continuous path. The walls display images and information related to each period, from diplomatic and economic turning points to international integration events.
Visitors often stand along this curve, their eyes following the timeline or looking up at the photos, creating a sense of journeying through history. Wearing traditional attire like an ao dai, standing slightly tilted, or walking along the curve adds harmony, solemnity, and aesthetic richness to the photo.

Besides the indoor exhibits, visitors can explore outdoor attractions like the military equipment and aircraft display. The "Globe" area is also worth a visit with its spectacular film screenings, creating an impressive visual effect. |
The ceiling in one corner of the exhibition is designed as a miniature sky. The black background is covered with tiny lights evoking the feeling of a starry night, while below, dozens of white doves hang suspended in a circle.
When taking photos here, visitors should point their cameras upwards to capture the entire circle of doves and the starry background. Standing directly beneath the center of the circle or tilting the camera upwards gives the impression that the doves are flying overhead.

The Ministry of Public Security's exhibition area features a prominent red color scheme, combined with a large LED screen displaying images of people's police officers raising the national flag. Above, red ribbons radiate like a halo, framing the central image cylinder and creating a sense of grandeur.
This is another popular photo spot due to its strong visual impact and clear symbolic meaning. On 7/9, the exhibition remained crowded. Key areas like the Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of National Defense exhibits attracted significant attention, making movement and photography challenging.
If you have time, consider visiting the exhibition during the week to avoid crowds and take photos more easily.
