Thousands flock to Ba Na Hills for National Day

Sun World Ba Na Hills attracted thousands of visitors with its patriotic decorations and celebratory activities for the 80th National Day.

On the first day of the 2/9 National Day holiday, Sun World Ba Na Hills welcomed thousands of domestic and international visitors. According to the resort, domestic tourists accounted for 80% of the total visitors during this period.

Most visitors were immersed in the festive atmosphere, filled with patriotism. To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and 2/9 National Day, Sun Group launched the "Beloved Vietnam" campaign across all Sun World locations nationwide.

The Golden Bridge, adorned with Vietnamese flags, became a focal point for visitors during the 2/9 holiday. Thousands of people came to take photos with the majestic natural scenery and the vibrant red and yellow flags.

Many international couples captured their love against the backdrop of the iconic bridge and the national flag. "My girlfriend and I have been wanting to visit the Golden Bridge for a long time. We feel incredibly lucky to be here during Vietnam's National Day. The sight of the bridge draped in flags is very impressive," David Lammy from the UK shared.

A key attraction this National Day at Ba Na Hills was Vinh Cuu Square, decorated with nearly 10 tons of fresh pumpkins, creating an autumnal scene. The highlight was a giant pumpkin weighing 171 kg, breaking the 2024 record for the heaviest pumpkin in Vietnam at Ba Na Hills (126 kg).

Many Vietnamese visitors found unique ways to express their patriotism. Traditional flowing dresses and bright red shirts stood out against the Golden Bridge and other scenic spots, creating meaningful "check-in" photos for the national holiday.

Sun World Ba Na Hills also offered creative culinary and artistic experiences. Buffet restaurants featured dishes and desserts inspired by the national flag.

International artists at Ba Na Hills delivered lively performances and flash mobs set to popular songs, embodying the spirit of patriotism and revolution.

Another draw for visitors was a special over 40% discount for Vietnamese tourists during the 2/9 National Day holiday. Cable car tickets were reduced to 550,000 VND per adult (original price 950,000 VND) and 350,000 VND for children and seniors over 70 (original price 750,000 VND). Combo tickets for the cable car and lunch buffet were also available at 880,000 VND for adults and 550,000 VND for children and seniors.

With the combination of scenery, cultural experiences, cuisine, and special offers, Sun World Ba Na Hills attracted a growing number of domestic and international tourists during the 2/9 National Day holiday.
