"This has to be the worst post ever," Musk commented on a screenshot of Trump's post on X on 13/7.
In the post, Trump defended Bondi against criticism for her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, urging Republican supporters to stop attacking the administration over the Epstein records.

Musk countered this, saying, "Just release the files like you promised." He also responded to another post calling the Epstein case Trump's "Achilles' heel," criticizing him for promising to release the files during his campaign but now downplaying their significance.
"This is obviously a big deal. What kind of system are we living in where thousands of kids can be abused and the government has videos of the abusers, yet no one is prosecuted?" Musk wrote.
Trump has not commented on the matter.
The Department of Justice and the FBI last week released a memo concluding there was no evidence Epstein "maintained a client list," as rumored.
The memo also confirmed Epstein's suicide in a Manhattan jail in 8/2019, consistent with the medical examiner's findings, and stated there is no evidence of foul play.
During a heated exchange with Trump last month, Musk accused him of being "named in the Epstein files" on social media. However, he later deleted the post and expressed regret for going "too far" in his criticisms of Trump.
