Police in Saga prefecture, western Japan, said on 27/7 that the previous afternoon, Dam Duy Khang, armed with a knife, rang the doorbell of 40-year-old Japanese language teacher Mukumoto Maiko's home in Imari city. Maiko's 70-year-old mother answered the door.
