Autohome, China's leading online automotive platform, announced the results of its winter 2025 tests conducted in Inner Mongolia. The tests took place in temperatures ranging from -10°C to -25°C, evaluating seven key scenarios: operating range, energy consumption, fast charging, air conditioning, automatic emergency braking (AEB), acceleration, and off-road capability.
This was Autohome's largest winter test to date, involving 67 vehicles simultaneously. The lineup included mostly pure electric vehicles and some PHEVs, covering small hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs across all price segments, from 60,000 yuan (USD 8,500) to over 2 million yuan (USD 285,000).

Fast charging capability in extreme cold was measured from 30% to 80%. The Avatr 06 was the most surprising model, needing only 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. It was followed by the Nevo 06 and the Fulwin A9L, an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV). The Xiaomi YU7 SUV ranked 39th with 31 minutes, while the Model Y ranked 44th with 35 minutes.
