The company received the award for its contributions to the development of a sustainable supply chain, bringing fresh and safe agricultural products to Vietnamese consumers.

Central Retail Vietnam was named "Retailer of the Year 2025" at the Asia Fruit Awards. The ceremony took place on 4/9 during the Asia Fruit Logistica international trade fair in Hong Kong, China. The award recognizes the company's efforts to bring consumers quality fresh produce that meets food safety standards through its sustainable sourcing and development programs.

Van said that over 90% of the goods in the system are made in Vietnam. Each year, the company purchases over 90,000 tons of food and fresh agricultural products from about 1,000 domestic suppliers, contributing to increasing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products and creating further development momentum for domestic businesses. In addition, Central Retail also directly imports high-quality fruits and builds cooperative relationships with reputable suppliers worldwide, helping domestic consumers access a variety of international-standard fresh products.

Previously, on 21/8, Central Retail held the "Proud of Vietnamese Specialties 2025" festival and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with six suppliers to launch their GO! Viet Farm private label, expanding the output for Vietnamese agricultural products. On this occasion, the company also introduced three new community livelihood projects in Phu Tho, Dong Thap, and Lao Cai, continuing to affirm its role as a bridge between farmers, businesses, and consumers.

Tran Trong Tung, director of the Yen Dung Safe Vegetable Cooperative (a supplier for the GO! system), said that cooperating with Central Retail helps the cooperative feel secure about its output thanks to the widespread distribution system. In addition to stable consumption, Central Retail also provides support, from guidance on improved farming practices, traceability using QR codes, technical training, and technology assistance to transparent VietGAP standardization. Last year, 540 tons of the cooperative's cucumbers were sold through GO!. Last month, in the program "GO! Viet Farm - Fresh from Vietnamese farms", Yen Dung Safe Vegetables became a private label supplier for GO!, marking a new step forward for Bac Giang's clean agricultural products.

Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Domestic Market Management and Development Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), said that recently, ministries, branches, and localities have always prioritized developing the domestic market, issuing many policies to support agricultural products and build brands. He emphasized that the cooperation of distribution systems like Central Retail helps regional specialties reach consumers more easily, builds Vietnamese agricultural product brands not only domestically but also internationally, thereby improving community livelihoods.
