The new logo for Saigon Thuong Tin Bank (Sacombank) features a blue background and metallic yellow text. The logo incorporates the letter "S" within a closed circle, which is the first letter of Sacombank. According to the bank, this "S" symbolizes stability, sustainability, and success.

Sacombank implemented the logo change two days after announcing the appointment of Nguyen Duc Thuy as acting chief executive officer. The bank describes this as a strategic move.

Previously, when Thuy served as chairman of LienVietPostBank, the bank also changed its logo to yellow and brown and rebranded as LPBank. During his three-year tenure, the bank underwent restructuring, streamlined its personnel, and recorded its strongest business growth in many years.

Nguyen Duc Thuy, often referred to as "bau Thuy", was born in 1976. He graduated with a degree in business administration from Colorado State University (CSU) in Colorado, US.

Before entering the banking sector in 2021, he was a well-known businessman. He previously served as chairman of Thai Group, Thaiholdings Joint Stock Company, Kim Lien Tourism Joint Stock Company, and Enclave Phu Quoc Joint Stock Company. He also held the position of vice chairman at Xuan Thien Ninh Thuan Solar Power Company and Xuan Thien Dak Lak Solar Power Company.

The bank recently passed a resolution approving several items for its upcoming shareholder meeting. These include the election of 4 additional members to the Board of Directors for the 2022-2026 term. On 15/1/2026, the bank will finalize the shareholder list to notify shareholders or groups of shareholders owning 5% or more of the voting shares, granting them the right to nominate candidates.
