Vietjet honored for aviation service in India

Vietjet has received the "Excellence in Aviation Service and Customer Experience" award for its various customer care and promotional programs.

The award was presented at the ET Leadership Excellence Awards 2025, organized by the Times of India on 28/8. The program recognizes leading businesses with outstanding business results, innovative services, and positive impacts on the industry and community.

Vietjet launched its first direct flight to India in 2019. To date, the airline has transported over 1.8 million passengers on 10 routes connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang with major Indian cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, with a frequency of 88 flights per week.

Vietjet offers 4 ticket classes and continuously provides promotional programs and experiences tailored to the Indian market, such as vegetarian and Halal menus, onboard yoga activities, and celebrations for festivals like Diwali and Holi.

It has also developed the Startup Flight initiative to promote culture and is committed to sustainable operations using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

A Vietjet representative said the airline will continue to expand its international flight network, promoting connections between Vietnam, India, and other markets, aiming to become an international aviation corporation that provides travel opportunities for all passengers and contributes to the sustainable development of the community.
