Brand Finance's "Vietnam 100 2025" report reveals that the total brand value of Vietnam's top 100 brands this year reached $38.4 billion. This figure represents a 14% decrease compared to last year due to economic challenges.
Brand Finance, a London-based brand valuation consultancy, defines brand value as the net economic benefit that a brand owner achieves by licensing the brand in the open market.

Rank | Brand | Value (USD billion) |
1 | Viettel | 7.357 |

3 | Vietcombank | 2.372 |

Viettel maintained its top position for the 10th consecutive year, with a brand value of nearly $7.4 billion. The corporation strengthened its market position through 5G network expansion, aiming for 99% population coverage by 2030, and a strategic partnership with Visa to promote electronic payments.
Vinamilk (down 2% to over $2.6 billion) and Vietcombank (up 16% to nearly $2.4 billion) hold the second and third positions, respectively. Six banks are among the top 10 most valuable brands. Among them, MB experienced the fastest growth, with its brand value increasing by 87% to nearly $1.6 billion.
While the total value of the top 100 brands declined, several sectors experienced significant growth: automobiles (49%), real estate (27%), logistics (25%), air transport (15%), and technology (10%).
The real estate sector grew by 27%, led by Vinhomes, a company within the Vingroup ecosystem, while the technology sector saw a 10% increase. This demonstrates the adaptability of businesses amidst economic challenges. FPT's brand value increased by 18% to $1.2 billion, driven by its expansion of digital services and technological innovation.
"Vietnamese brands have shown resilience despite the downward trend in overall market brand value," said Alex Haigh, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, Brand Finance.
Brand Finance also ranks the Brand Strength Index (BSI), which measures the effectiveness of brand performance on intangible measures relative to competitors. This year, the top spot belongs to Vinpearl, a subsidiary of Vingroup (brand value $204 million), with a BSI score of 97.5 out of 100 and an AAA+ rating. Vietcombank and Bao Viet rank second and third in brand strength, respectively.
Vietnam has also made significant strides in sustainability, according to Brand Finance. Viettel and VietinBank lead in Sustainability Perceptions Value (SPV).
Annually, Brand Finance surveys 6,000 of the world's largest brands and publishes over 100 reports, ranking brands across sectors and countries. The 100 most valuable and strongest brands in Vietnam are included in the "Brand Finance Vietnam 100 2025" report.
