Anh Tu Atus plays Phat, An's (Minh Anh) love interest in the family drama "Nha ba toi mot phong". The couple secretly dates because Mr. Thach (Truong Giang) forbids his daughter from dating as a teenager. Fearing his daughter might be deceived, he devises a plan to monitor her, leading to many awkward and comical situations.
Anh Tu Atus's role takes on the romantic storyline and contributes to many conflicts within Mr. Thach's family. An and Phat's story reflects Gen Z characteristics: innocent, clumsy, but sincere, highlighting the contrast between the world of children and parents. "I want to convey the message: control sometimes stems from love but can easily create distance", director Truong Giang said.
For this new work, Truong Giang takes on three roles: director, producer, and actor. The film revolves around a father and child living in a cramped apartment in the city center. Every day, the father diligently earns a living by making fermented fish sauce. When An fails the fashion entrance exam, a field she loves, Mr. Thach advises her to join him in the family business. From this point, many rifts occur between the father and child, stemming from lifestyle disagreements between the two generations.
Anh Tu graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema, making his acting debut in the short film "Ha Noi, Em Yeu Anh" (directed by Luk Van). In 2016, he appeared in "4 Years, 2 Guys, 1 Love", starring alongside Harry Lu and Midu. He gradually took on more feature films such as "Cua Lai Vo Bau" (2019), "Chi Muoi Ba: Ba Ngay Sinh Tu" (2021), "Sieu Lua Gap Sieu Lay" (2023), "Gap Lai Chi Bau" (2024), and participated in the reality show "Anh Trai Say Hi". Anh Tu married actress Dieu Nhi in 2022, after nearly 10 years together.
Doan Minh Anh, born in 2008, has appeared in films such as "Chay Di Roi Tinh" (directed by Nam Cito - Bao Nhan) and "Sieu Trom" (directed by Ham Tran). In 4/2025, she gained recognition for her role as Nga, a mysteriously missing teenager, in director Victor Vu's film "Tham Tu Kien".

Besides Truong Giang's film, Vietnamese cinemas are vibrant with many releases during the Binh Ngo Tet season. "Tho Oi", a psychological drama by Tran Thanh, features a cast including: singer Lyly, Dinh Ngoc Diep, MC Gil Le, rapper Phap Kieu, and Ali Hoang Duong. "Mui Pho" marks the first collaboration between artist Xuan Hinh and actress Thu Trang. "Bau Vat Troi Cho" (directed by Le Thanh Son), starring Tuan Tran and Phuong Anh Dao, centers on the love story of a single mother in a Central Vietnamese fishing village.
