Veteran actress Kim Xuan returns to cinema after three years with the Tet film "Nha Minh Di Thoi," directed by Tran Dinh Hien. Acting alongside many Gen Z faces, including Uyen An, Doan The Vinh, and TikToker Con Co Day, the artist states she draws inspiration from them. She enjoys observing the acting journey of each young person, finding happiness when they are on the right path and recover from setbacks.
For example, Kim Xuan expresses admiration for Uyen An, the film's lead actress, for her diligence and ambition. "I see her youthful journey, from 'Nha ba Nu', 'Mai' to 'Co dau hao mon', and realize she is a promising name with a bright future," the artist states.
Kim Xuan learns from young actors how to choose fresh scripts and strives to change her image. In the film, she portrays a grandmother in a four-generation family, a character crucial for connecting the household members. After many years primarily playing tragic roles, Kim Xuan experiments with comedic, healing-themed roles.
The artist also demonstrates local accent impersonation skills on the big screen for the first time, as her character is a native of Hue. Her husband, a native of Thua Thien Hue, provided guidance, and fellow actress Hong Van offered additional instruction. Kim Xuan says that after the film is released, she hopes to receive feedback from the audience and media if she makes any mistakes.

However, her family is gradually fracturing because its members do not know how to listen to each other. Forced to participate in the experience trip, they face many stressful situations due to sibling conflicts, generational gaps, and work pressure.
The work is set in Da Nang, the director's hometown, showcasing the beauty of Hoi An Ancient Town, Nam O fishing village, Hoa Phu Thanh waterfall, and Linh Ung Pagoda. The film also features artists Hong Van, Huu Chau, Hoang Son, and Ngoc Quynh, and is scheduled to be released on the 10th day of Tet.
