Artists perform to celebrate the 14th National Congress

Singers Hong Nhung, Vu Thang Loi, and thousands of artists and performers participate in performances blending art and technology for the 14th National Congress celebration program.

The atmosphere of labor and national construction across all fields and professions was vividly depicted through songs: "Singing About Today's Rice Plant" (by musician Hoang Van), "Night Stars" (by musician Phan Huynh Dieu), "My Homeland Port" (by musician The Song), and "One Round Vietnam" (by musician Dong Thien Duc). The performance reflected the vibrant pace of life and the aspiration to build the nation during the Doi Moi (Renovation) era.

The "Under the Party's Glorious Flag" art night on the evening of 23/1 celebrated the success of the Communist Party of Vietnam's 14th National Congress and marked the Party's 96th anniversary (3/2/1930). This two-hour program brought together a large force of artists and performers, recreating the nation's history and affirming the country's confidence and aspiration to thrive. Each performance was elaborately staged with hundreds of artists and soldiers, harmoniously blending music, dance, and projection technology.

The program featured segments reflecting key historical periods. Singer Dong Hung and a choir performed "Road Ahead" (by musician Tien Minh) and "Uncle Ho is Marching with Us" (by musician Huy Thuc), conveying the optimistic spirit and unwavering faith of the Vietnamese people during wartime. Following this, artist Ta Minh Tam's spirited rendition of "The Nation Full of Joy" (by musician Hoang Ha) emotionally recreated the jubilant atmosphere of national reunification, with flags and flowers everywhere.

The vibrant drum performance resonated, creating a festive atmosphere for the program.

The vibrant pace of life and the aspiration to build the nation during the Doi Moi (Renovation) era were depicted through songs highlighting labor and national construction. Artist Vu Thang Loi, with his warm, emotive voice, conveyed the simple yet noble beauty of laborers across all regions of the country through a series of songs.

The program also showcased contemporary expressions of national pride. Singer Hong Nhung performed "Hanoi, Faith and Hope" (by musician Phan Nhan) with a gentle, profound singing style.

Singer Hoang Thuy Linh (third from left) and the group DTAP sang "My House Has a Flag Hanging," a song about love for the homeland through simple things. The image of a flag hanging in front of each home evokes national pride, community spirit, and the bond between individuals, families, and the nation.
