Siu Black informed that she could not participate in the concert in Da Lat (Lam Dong) on 29/1 as scheduled due to health issues. The singer apologized to the organizers and audience for their understanding and continued support.
The "Mountain Nightingale" stated she is undergoing dialysis twice a week for a month, starting 27/1, as prescribed by doctors. "I have tried my best recently, but my health has weakened a lot and I often feel tired. Since I can't push myself any further, I decided to be hospitalized", Siu Black said.

Her husband is currently by her side, caring for her. The singer mentioned she would not accept shows during Tet because she does not know if she will recover as quickly as hoped. She is focusing on treatment and rest, hoping her physical strength improves so she can return to the stage.
In late 10/2025, Siu Black was hospitalized due to illness. At that time, Doctor Bui Truong Giang, Deputy Director for Professional Affairs and Head of the Intensive Care and Anti-Poisoning Department at Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital, where the singer was treated, said she was admitted with signs of respiratory failure, multi-membrane effusion, heart failure, and ischemic anemia. Additionally, the singer had underlying conditions such as chronic kidney failure and diabetes. After several days of intensive treatment, her health stabilized.
Siu Black, a Ba Na ethnic, rose from grassroots singing activities, pursuing rock music, and is known for her "fiery" performance style. She released albums like Ru ta ngam ngui (2000), Mat troi trong Siu (2007), K'Bing oi (2011), and judged music competitions such as Vietnam Idol, The Winner Is, and Rock Viet. She also appeared in films like Huyen thoai bat tu, Giot dang, Doc suong mu, Cau vong sau mua, Giai cuu than chet.
In 2012, Siu Black held a concert to celebrate 20 years of singing, titled Siu Black - Khat khao moi hong. In 2013, she was involved in a scandal over billions of dong in debt, even performing while creditors surrounded the stage. Due to her debts, after working in TP HCM, Siu Black returned to her hometown. Besides singing, the "Mountain Nightingale" currently grows coffee and raises livestock to make a living.
Siu Black was once married to volleyball player Nguyen Duc Hung but divorced in 2009. Afterward, the singer became a single mother. Her ex-husband remarried but was unhappy and separated. They reconciled in 2019, holding a church wedding in 9/2023 in their hometown. The couple has two sons, Nguyen Siu Manh and Nguyen Siu Hieu.
