Bang Cuong's wife writes song for husband

Bang Cuong's wife, singer Bao Anh, wrote the song "Yeu tro thanh thuong" and performed it at her husband's 25-year singing anniversary concert.

Singer Bao Anh composed and performed "Yeu tro thanh thuong" at her husband Bang Cuong's 25-year singing anniversary concert, "Yeu doi ta hat", on the night of 23/4 in TP HCM. Bao Anh, who rarely expresses emotions verbally, explained that she wrote the song to convey her feelings to Bang Cuong after two years of marriage. The couple performed the song together, receiving audience applause.

During the more than three-hour concert, Bang Cuong performed a series of hits he made famous, such as "Ngay hanh phuc", "Tinh yeu va noi nho", "Dong song buon", and "Hinh bong em". He stated that over 25 years in music, he faced many difficulties but never faltered. He feels fortunate to have met mentors and colleagues who helped him on his musical journey.

The program featured long-time associates, including artist Hoai Linh and singer Quang Ha. Bang Cuong performed duets with Quang Ha on songs like "Manh tinh sai doi", "Khi anh gap em", and "Nhieu luc". Bang Cuong mentioned that Quang Ha was a mentor who encouraged him to move to TP HCM to start his career.

Hoai Linh and his junior, Tien Khoa, performed the comedy skit "Trung so". After the performance, Hoai Linh expressed that it had been a long time since he returned to a tea room setting, and he was happy to see the audience again. He hoped everyone would continue to show support, especially for young singers, to motivate them in their careers. Nearly 400 audience members stayed until midnight to listen to Bang Cuong's remix medley.

According to Bang Cuong, he and his wife have a 12-year age difference but are compatible in all aspects, from personality to work. Both prefer a low-key life. He works hard performing, saving money to release solo music products or sing with his wife. Recently, he also opened singing classes, supporting young newcomers to the profession. The singer is grateful to his wife for helping him with vocal training daily, being a spiritual support, and quietly stepping back to allow him to develop his career. Becoming a father in his 40s, he admitted still feeling awkward caring for his child, but he is happy with his small family. The singer and his wife currently live in an apartment in TP HCM.

Bao Anh is a member of the group Gemini with her twin sister Bao Tran. The group won first prize in the "Hop ca tranh tai" competition in 2012, then became professional and released many music albums.

Bang Cuong is the nephew of saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan. The public knows him for self-composed and performed songs such as "Yeu co ban than", "Than thoai", "Tinh yeu dep", "Ngay hanh phuc", "Hinh bong em", and "Dong song buon". He moved from Nam Dinh to TP HCM in 2006 to start his career.
