Nam Anh was recently admitted to Purdue University, specializing in motorsports engineering. Purdue is recognized as one of the top public universities in the United States, celebrated for its excellence in engineering, technology, and applied sciences.
Thu Huong expressed pride in her son's opportunity to develop his passion in a supportive environment. She prioritized instilling healthy eating, exercise habits, and proactive decision-making over academic pressure. "I always tell my son not to neglect his health for academic achievements," Thu Huong stated.

Nam Anh began his racing journey in 12/2024 after receiving an invitation to a go kart race at Dai Nam Race Track in Binh Duong, where he secured first place.
Following his mother's suggestion, he read a 400-page book on Adrian Newey, a technical director for racing teams and an acclaimed aerodynamics genius in F1. Nam Anh deeply admires Newey's approach to thinking and problem-solving, considering him an idol.

Late last year, Thu Huong's son competed in the 2025 F4 Formula Trophy Abu Dhabi, finishing in the top 16. During international races, his family, including his parents (right), consistently provided support. |

According to Thu Huong, Nam Anh shares his father's traits, demonstrating care for women in the family, effective task management, and independent thinking. "My husband and I consistently discuss and agree on parenting strategies, aiming to equip Nam Anh with the best skills to confidently enter university," Thu Huong stated. |
Thu Huong revealed that over the past three years, she and her husband have invested significantly in their son's future. Alongside his international school commitments, Nam Anh dedicates several hours daily to practicing with teammates on a home racing simulator.
To maintain Nam Anh's health and physical fitness, Thu Huong ensures he follows a race car driver's diet, rich in fiber, plant and animal protein, and carbohydrates, supplemented with fruits for vitamins and minerals. He also undergoes muscle-building training with a coach.
